In the case of child abuse in a rehabilitation center in the Lvov region, a teacher who beat a child in a training and rehabilitation center in the Lvov region was informed of suspicion of beatings and assault, said the chairman of the OBA Maxim Kozitsky
Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, suspicion was reported to the teacher of the educational and rehabilitation center. She is charged with intentional beating and committing other violent acts that caused physical pain to a minor (Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
According to the investigation, the teacher, while in the office at her place of work, beat a student at the educational and rehabilitation center.
Previously, a sudden conflict arose between them, during which the suspect struck about ten blows to the victim’s body with an object similar to a pointer.
Afterwards, in self-defense, the girl knocked the object with which they had beaten her out of her hands. However, the woman did not stop there and pushed the student onto the sofa, where she continued beating the child with her palm.
As a result of such actions, the victim suffered physical pain. Investigative actions are ongoing. The woman has now been suspended from duty.
