Pyongyang was angered by NATO’s condemnation of North Korea and Iran for direct military support to Moscow, helping Russia continue its all-out war against Ukraine.
North Korea criticized NATO statements condemning military cooperation between the DPRK and the Russian Federation and threatened that the Alliance’s position could have “tragic consequences.” This was reported by KCNA.
“The statement, timed to coincide with the visit of the new NATO Secretary General to Ukraine, clearly indicates that the Alliance will enter the first line of confrontation with the DPRK,” the DPRK Foreign Ministry said.
Pyongyang was angered by NATO’s condemnation of North Korea and Iran for direct military support to Moscow, helping Russia continue its all-out war against Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK expressed “deep regret that NATO undermines the legitimate cooperation between independent sovereign countries, distorts the essence of the crisis in Ukraine, and strongly condemns and rejects such accusations.”
“If NATO continues all kinds of attempts to violate the dignity, sovereignty, security and interests of the DPRK, while simultaneously continuing its hostile policy towards it, the Alliance will bear full responsibility for the atrocities -tragic consequences that come with it,” the DPRK stressed.
Let’s recall that North Korea previously called the declaration of the NATO summit, which condemned the transfer of weapons to Russia by the DPRK, an illegal document and expressed its readiness to strengthen its decisive strategic opposition to the United States and NATO.
So that everyone is afraid: is a Putin-UN coalition possible as an alternative to NATO?
