Russian Ambassador to the USA Antonov has completed his work and is returning to Moscow

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov has completed his work and is returning to Moscow. RosSMI reported this on the evening of October 5 in connection with the diplomatic mission in Washington.

It was noted that “Antonov is completing his business trip to Washington and is on his way to Moscow.”

It is still unknown who will be appointed Russian ambassador to the United States in his place.

We remind you that Antonov has headed the Russian embassy in Washington since August 2017. He is under international sanctions in support of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
