The presidential candidate drew large crowds at the fair where he was assassinated in July.
US presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday, October 5, returned to the fairgrounds in Pennsylvania, where he was assassinated in July. There he held a big rally. Associated Press reports.
Before the event began, Trump’s plane flew into a crowd of fans, with the song from the movie Top Gun blasting from the loudspeakers. Trailers were lined up around the scene for added protection, and three paratroopers, with American flags flying behind them, landed next to the building where the July 13 shooting took place.
Trump picked up where he left off the day a gunman tried to kill him, hitting him in the ear: “Like I said…” and gesturing to the immigration card he was looking at when the shooting began.
“He didn’t stop us from moving, he didn’t break our spirit,” Trump said of the gunman who was shot by security forces.
Billionaire Elon Musk also appeared at the Trump rally for the first time, wearing a MAGA cap and speaking in support of the candidate. Trump called the owner of the social network X the person who “saved freedom of speech.”
Trump, standing behind protective glass, called the failed killer a “cruel monster” and said he was prevented from succeeding by “the hand of Providence and the grace of God.”
Halfway through his speech, Trump cut his speech short for more than five minutes after one of those present had a health problem and needed a medical professional.
As you know, last week it was reported that Harris was ahead of Trump in six key states.
Harris gets into unexpected trouble because of Volz’s penchant for lying.
