In the Altai Territory (Russia), a dam broke, destroying the road connecting two parts of a village. This was reported by the head of the Shelabolikha district administration of the Altai Territory, Alexander Shushunov, as well as media channels and Telegram.
The dam has failed to contain the large volume of water that has accumulated this monsoon, the official said. And, as a result, all the water flowed into the river bed dividing the village of Shelabolikha. Currently, the road connecting both parts of the village is destroyed.
According to media reports, more than three thousand people live in the village.
We remind you that in the summer in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia the dam of the Kialimskoye reservoir exploded. A large number of houses were flooded.
