The drone attack took place in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
On the night of October 5, air defense systems were operating in this region. Several enterprises came under air attack and a fire broke out. Russian authorities said they had “shot down and suppressed several drones.” The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, made a corresponding statement on Telegram.
According to him, Ukrainian UAVs allegedly “tried to attack several enterprises producing civilian products.” As a result of the incident, one person received a shrapnel wound in the arm.
Russian propaganda reported that drones attacked the Ethanol Spirit distillery located in Novokhopersk. Footage of the explosion and fire there has already appeared on the Internet.
Information also appeared about damage to a distillery in the Belgorod region. In particular, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced on the evening of October 4 about an explosion due to the detonation of a UAV on the territory of an industrial enterprise in the village of Peschanka, Stary Oskol urban district.
