Opposition media said men in uniform detained a woman who was recording on video the moment the Russian drone went down.
A Russian suicide bomb exploded in the Belarusian city of Kalinkovichi. After that, the light went out in the village. The monitoring group Belaruski Gayun reported this on its Telegram channel, as well as on the Belsat TV channel.
Residents of Kalinkovichi heard a loud explosion around 4:55 am. The information has been confirmed from several sources.
“12 minutes earlier, it was reported that a suicide bomber entered Belarusian airspace and was moving in the direction of Mozyr, passing east of Narovlya,” the monitoring group noted.
The distance from Narovlya to Kalinkovichi is 40 km, which a “martyr” can cover in just 11 minutes (the average speed is 200 km / h), Belarusian Gayun added.
“The trajectory and speed of the suicide bomb indicate that at the moment of the explosion the drone was already over the city. At the same time, according to our data, during the described period, no aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force was recorded in the Gomel region,” the report said.
Belsat added that after the explosion in Kalinkovichi there was no light. However, it is not known now if it blew up by itself or if it was shot down by air defense forces.
Opposition media also reported that in the Kalinkovichi area, people in uniform detained a woman who recorded on video when the Russian “martyr” fell.
As you know, this is not the first time that Russian attack drones flew over Belarus during the shelling of Ukraine. Belarusian aviation has already destroyed several suicide bombers.
The State Border Guard Service commented on the “missing” Russian “martyrs” in Belarus
