Russian invaders began to resort to a new method of camouflaging PFM-1 Lepestok mines.
The head of the Kherson MBA, Roman Mrochko, announced this today, October 3, in his Telegram channel.
The occupiers coat them with glue and roll them in soil, dust or leaves. This makes the mines less noticeable and can be mistaken for rocks or debris,” said Mrochko.
Mrochko also said that in the Kherson community, cases of remote mining of de-occupied territories by the enemy have become more frequent.
In this regard, he urged citizens to be careful:
- do not touch or approach unfamiliar objects;
- teach children about explosive devices and the danger they pose;
- If you find suspicious objects, immediately move as far away as possible and report the dangerous find to 101.
These simple steps can save your life. Remember – the enemy is insidious! Be careful and careful! – he emphasized.
