In the Kharkov region, a village burned down due to a forest fire – more than a thousand houses were destroyed, and there were deaths.
About this today, October 3. On his Facebook page, the head of the investigation department of the main department of the National Police in the Kharkov region, Sergei Bolvinov, said:
Four people were burned alive. Two displaced women, another local and one man. They simply did not have time to escape – the flames were spreading at a frantic pace,” Bolvinov noted.
The fire came from Donbass – from the village of Rubtsy it spread to Borovskoye forestry. The crown fire engulfed the Krasnooskolsky landscape park, and then began to approach the village of Peski-Radkovskie.
It was in this area, on the territory of one of the charitable foundations, that people died and two more received burns. Also, about 1,100 wooden houses burned in the forest and near it, sixty people were evacuated, Bolvinov said.
We will investigate this matter and determine the cause of the fire. It is possible that the forest in the Donetsk region was occupied due to Russian shelling,” he added.
