Repair teams have restored the reliability of power supply to the occupied Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
The press service of Ukrenergo reported this today, October 2, in the evening.
Yesterday, October 1, due to a Russian attack on a power facility, one of the overhead lines supplying the Zaporizhia NPP was damaged.
Repair crews waited more than a day for permission to begin repairs and restore power. Due to constant shelling from the invaders, it was only possible to obtain permission to carry out work today, Ukrenergo said.
Thus, the 330 kV overhead line, damaged as a result of Russian shelling, is back in operation.
Currently, the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP has the ability to receive electricity both through the main and reserve lines, noted Ukrenergo.
