Negotiations continue on coal supplies from Donbass with potential buyers from China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

The Russian company Trading House Donskoy Coal intends to start exporting coal from the occupied Donbass through the port of Mariupol in October. This was said by one of the leaders of the occupation of the Russian administration in the Donetsk region, Andrei Chertkov, reports RosSMI.

The general director of the business, Oleg Knyazev, noted that negotiations on coal supplies from Donbass continue with potential buyers from China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

According to a source familiar with Donskoy Coal’s plans, exports may go through the ports of temporarily occupied Mariupol, Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don, as well as by rail through Azerbaijan and Iran.

Let’s remember that China began to protect the domestic market from Russian coal, which rushed there after the introduction of the European embargo, and to prevent cooperation with companies that fell under US sanctions.

India’s coal imports from Russia have also reportedly declined. Supplies from the USA increased.
