Today, September 29, at night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the arsenal for storing and modernizing missile and artillery weapons of the Russian occupiers near the village of Kotluban, Volgograd region of Russia.
According to available information, ahead of the strike, a trainload of Iranian missiles arrived at the arsenal. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military facility was closely covered by electronic warfare and air defense systems, however, our units successfully completed the combat mission. There is a fire and detonation of ammunition on the territory of the arsenal, the General Staff noted.
It is noted that the operation was carried out by the Unmanned Systems Forces in cooperation with units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the SBU.
The defense forces continue to explode the enemy’s military potential, the General Staff added.
