The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out “the futility and danger of the idea of trying to fight until victory against a nuclear state.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York, warned against “attempts to win the fight against a nuclear state,” AP reports.
Lavrov reiterated the Kremlin’s propaganda thesis that the West is allegedly using Ukraine as a tool to try to “defeat” Moscow strategically and “prepare Europe to rush into this suicidal adventure as well.”
“I’m not going to talk here about the futility and danger of the very idea of trying to fight to victory against a nuclear state, which is Russia,” he said.
At a press conference after his speech, Lavrov said that “regardless of whether Ukraine was given permission to supply long-range weapons, we will see how they understand what they heard.”
Let’s recall that on September 25, the Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced the expansion of the conditions for the use of nuclear weapons in the Russian Federation. Now one of them is a massive drone attack. Russia could also use nuclear weapons in an “aggression” against Belarus.
The DPRK also said the West underestimated Russia’s serious warnings and may not be able to handle the consequences.
