Each of the 401 people’s representatives can reserve two assistants working under a full-time employment contract.
The total number of assistants to the representatives of the people of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada is 4,449 people, most of them work on a voluntary basis, that is, they do not receive salaries from the state budget of Ukraine. The Honest movement wrote this on Thursday, September 26.
“Currently there are 401 people’s representatives in the Verkhovna Rada, each of whom, according to the law, can have a maximum of 31 assistants,” analysts said.
The largest number of assistants has representatives of a large faction in the parliament – the People’s Servant – 2380. Among other parliamentary factions and groups, the number of assistants is distributed as follows:

“On average, a people’s representative has 11 assistants in factions, more assistants per people’s representative are in Rodina – 16, in European Solidarity – 12, 10 in Servant of the People and 9 in Golos ,” the material said.
The maximum number of assistants (31) was accepted by seven parliamentarians:

It is known that 67 assistants work under a fixed employment contract, but this is combined with other work. The remaining 1087 are under a fixed employment contract on a permanent basis.
The Verkhovna Rada began considering the draft state budget for 2025.
