The High Anti-Corruption Court has confiscated the assets of Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov.
Iron ore products in the amount of more than 165 thousand tons were recovered from Ukraine’s income. Its estimated value is more than UAH 2 billion. Also, 100% of the authorized capital of Peter-Service Ukraine LLC was confiscated. This IT company was previously controlled by an oligarch. Deputy Minister of Justice Inna Bogatykh reported this on Facebook.
It is noted that the relevant decision was made by the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court on September 25, and it has not yet entered into force. An appeal may still be filed against the court’s decision.
As you know, Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov is part of the inner circle of the Kremlin’s top military-political leadership and is one of the most influential businessmen in Russia. After the start of a full-scale war, he is under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the United States and the European Union.
We would like to remind you that on September 25, the Ministry of Justice filed a lawsuit with the VAKS for the confiscation of the Ukrainian assets of the sanctioned Russian oligarchs Mikhail Fridman, Pyotr Aven and Andrei Kosogov. They are asking to confiscate, in particular, 100% of the assets of the producers “Mirgorodska” and “Morshinska”.
