This statement was made by Prime Minister Viktor Orban, and also added that his country is interested in ending the war with Ukraine.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said his country should radically increase its defense capabilities. This was reported by The Guardian.

“We have to increase our defensive capabilities,” Orban said.

He reiterated that Hungary was interested in a speedy end to the war with neighboring Ukraine.

It will be recalled that earlier, the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban spoke in support of granting the status of Ukraine’s candidate to the European Union. Although, as you know, Hungary is one of the few countries in Europe that still maintains close ties with Russia.
