Northern European states were invited to join the Northern Brigade project during the visit of Deputy Defense Minister for European Integration Alexander Balanutsa to Norway. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense on Wednesday, September 25.

The Ukrainian official also called on the arms directors of Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden for bilateral cooperation and investment in the Ukrainian defense industry.
The Ukrainian delegation held a meeting with representatives of defense industry companies – NAMMO, Fjord Defense, FLIR UAS, Kongsberg, Equipnor, Norlense and Rheinmetal.
The parties also discussed the issues of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and increasing aid to Ukraine within the framework of the Nansen program.
We remind you that the Norwegian government plans to increase annual aid to Ukraine to 1.3 billion euros and extend the support program until 2030.
Earlier, Norway announced that Ukraine will receive the latest weapons for the F-16. Because of this, it is possible to strike at long distances.
