The Ukrainian leader wants Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to lose the election to Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. The Republican candidate himself made the corresponding statement during the election campaign in Pennsylvania, Reuters reports.
He wants them to win this election so badly, but I would do it differently – I would work peacefully, Trump said.
The politician once again emphasized that he would try to end the war in Ukraine if he wins the elections. He would try to push Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table.
If I win this election, the first thing I will do is call Zelensky and President Putin and say, “You have to make a deal, this is crazy,” the Republican noted.
Zelensky’s office and Harris’ team have yet to respond to Trump’s words.
