As Sport.ua has learned, 17-year-old Manchester United midfielder Zachery Baumann has begun the process of obtaining Ukrainian citizenship. The Red Devils youth team player wants to play for the Ukrainian national team.
UAF helps the player to obtain Ukrainian football citizenship.
If everything happens quickly, Zachery could be called up to the 2006 Ukrainian national team for the selection camp. Dmytro Mykhailenko is interested in inviting the player to the U-19 and U-20 teams, the publication writes.
Sacker Baumann was born in Bolton to Ukrainian immigrants. His grandparents live in Kolomyia.
The midfielder has played four matches and scored a goal for Manchester United U-18 this season.
