A woman who advised Russian soldiers to put sunflower seeds in their pockets managed to leave the occupied territory.
In March 2022, Svetlana approached a Russian military man and said: “You have come to my land, you are occupiers and from now on you are cursed. Put sunflower seeds in your pocket so that they will sprout when you lie down!”
After this, the woman came under close surveillance by Russian special services. The infidels opened a criminal case against her under the article on “extremism”. The Russians also planned to send Svetlana to a show trial in the Russian Federation. It is known that this happened because of a denunciation by local collaborators.
In July 2023, the occupiers distributed a video showing a woman being forced to apologize for her words on camera. A criminal case was opened against Svetlana under the article on “extremism”, and the occupiers even planned to send him to Russia for a show trial.
However, now we have great news: Svetlana Pankova managed to escape from the occupation and is now safe. Her courage and invincibility have become a real example for all Ukrainians. She did not break under the pressure of the occupiers and remained true to her people and her beliefs, writes “Raion.Genichesk” with reference to its own sources and Russian publics in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
