The aggregate plant in Volchansk became a big problem for the Russian troops.
The day before, the occupation forces attacked their own forces at the Aggregate Plant using the heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek”. And such “friendly fire” is not happening for the first time. Vladimir Chernyak, an officer of the “Rubezh” brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, said this on September 22 on the air of the telethon.
They probably decided to ease the suffering of the Russians blocked at the plant. I don’t know the answer, I can’t get into their heads, he noted.
According to Chernyak, there are few Russians left at the Aggregate Plant, many of whom are not combat-ready. The enemy’s logistics in Volchansk have been disrupted. The invaders are trying to compensate for the lack of water, food and ammunition with drones.
Street fighting is currently ongoing in the city of Volchansk. Chernyak noted that there will likely be “good news soon, in particular about the Aggregate Plant.”
Let us recall that on September 16, the American Institute for the Study of War announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had resumed positions at the Volchansk Aggregate Plant, as well as in the western part of Mykhailivka in the Pokrovsk direction.
