In the Sumy region, a fire broke out due to shelling, and a substation and household consumers lost power. The fire has been extinguished.
In the Poltava region, as a result of a UAV attack on the territory of a substation, a fire also broke out, cutting off electricity to the substation and consumers. The fire has been extinguished. Electricity has been partially restored.
As noted by the Ministry of Energy, thanks to the efforts of energy workers, the situation in the energy system remains stable, however, the great damage caused by the massive enemy attack continues to complicate the operation of the system of energy. In addition, Russian troops do not stop the daily shelling of energy infrastructure facilities.
In total, since October 2022, Russia has conducted more than 1,000 strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. This year alone, 9 GW of generating capacity has been lost to enemy attacks.
A large-scale renovation campaign to restore energy facilities is underway. Energy workers are working around the clock to ensure the stability and integrity of the energy system and prepare it for the fall-winter season.
In the southeastern region, as a result of technological violations, the overhead line was cut. He is at work. Consumers did not lose power.
In the past 24 hours, power engineers have restored power to 12,110 consumers who lost power as a result of the fighting and technological disruptions.
In total, due to military operations and technical disruptions, 485 settlements remain partially or completely without electricity in the morning.
According to the Ministry of Energy, electricity exports are not occurring and are not expected. Today, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova are estimated to have a maximum capacity of 1,300 MW at individual times.

It was also reported that on the night of Saturday, September 21, the enemy launched a suicide bomb attack on energy facilities in the community of Shostka in the Sumy region.
