The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Kyiv today, September 20, on a visit.
De von der Leyen reported this on her page on the social network X, publishing a corresponding photo.
This is already her eighth visit to Ukraine.
My eighth visit to Kyiv comes as the heating season begins soon and Russia continues to target energy infrastructure. We will help Ukraine in its courageous efforts, she stressed.
Von der Leyen said she arrived in Kyiv to discuss support for Europe.
From winter readiness to defence, EU accession and progress on G7 loans,” she noted.
