The Russian Federation army launched new attacks on Sumy region.
On Tuesday, September 17, the enemy attacked Glukhov in the Shostka district. Around 10:00, the occupiers dropped three guided aerial bombs on the city’s civilian infrastructure. As a result of the enemy attack, a father and son, aged 64 and 34, were injured. The Sumy Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.
Russian shelling also damaged at least 20 private homes.
Under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war – Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Further, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the SBU.
Let us recall that the OTUV “Seversk” stated that the Russian military is shelling the Sumy region, seeing the successes of the ShchSU in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, but the shelling would have continued in any case.
