Ukrzaliznytsia reported changes in the movement of some trains in Europe

Most international trains from Ukraine to EU countries will run as scheduled on Tuesday, September 17, but some routes will be limited due to flooding in Central Europe. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

In particular, the flight Vienna – Kyiv – Vienna continues to operate as Budapest – Kyiv – Budapest.

The flight Vienna – Chop – Vienna with Hungarian Intercity class carriages also operates as Budapest – Chop – Budapest.

The Prague – Przemysl – Prague flight continued on a detour route via Petrovice v Karvina station without stopping in Ostrava.

The flight Prague – Chop – Prague will continue on a detour with a slight delay.

It is noted that for technical reasons, a bus transfer has been established on the stretch between Zahony and Tuzher for flights 146 Chop – Budapest and 644 Debrecen – Mukachevo.

At the same time, all trains between Ukraine and Warsaw, Chelm, Przemysl, Kosice, Budapest, Zahony, Chisinau are running according to schedule.

Let’s remember that Storm Boris caused the worst flooding in Europe in the last two decades. Houses, roads and infrastructure were destroyed. Poland has declared a state of emergency in its southern regions.

The death toll from heavy rain and flooding in central and eastern Europe has risen to 16.
