In Ukraine, the duration of basic combined arms training for mobilized personnel will be increased.
The relevant project should start working in October-November of this year. High-quality training is one of the main factors in preserving the life of a Ukrainian soldier. Therefore, maximum efforts are being made for this. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported this on Facebook on September 15.
He held a working meeting on this issue with the participation of the heads of military command bodies involved in training, as well as commanders of combat brigades and heads of training centers, the report says.
According to the commander-in-chief, the meeting discussed and worked through problematic issues that affect the quality of training of mobilized personnel. The command considered the direction of improving training programs.
Syrsky emphasized that instructors play a key role in the quality of training. Therefore, maximum attention is paid to attracting motivated instructors with combat experience. The possibility of creating an Instructor School is already being worked out, which will be the main and only source of high-quality trained instructor staff.
Let us recall that on September 3, the Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis a bill on military service during mobilization for persons under 25 years of age.
