From 20:00 on September 15 to 06:00 on the 16th, Air Force radio technical troops spotted and accompanied 56 attack UAVs from Kursk and Yeisk (RF). The main direction of the enemy’s attack at this time was towards the Kiev region.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the battle against the aircraft, 53 enemy attack UAVs were shot down in Kyiv, Cherkassy, Vinnitsa, Poltava, Sumy, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk and Cherkassy regions.
Three more enemy drones were lost locally in some regions, initially, without casualties or consequences.
We remind you that at night there were explosions in Krivoy Rog, in the Khmelnitsky and Kirovograd regions. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv, Zhitomir and Kherson regions.
