The General Staff updated Russia’s losses in the war

The total battle losses of the Russian invaders on September 16 amounted to approximately 634,860 people.

From February 24, 2022 to September 16, 2024, the total combat losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 634,860 people (+1060 per day). This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, since the beginning of the war, the following have been destroyed:

  • 8683 (+3) tanks

  • 17071 (+8) armored car

  • 18123 (+14) artillery systems

  • 1187 (+1) MLRS

  • 947 (+0) air defense system

  • 369 (+0) aircraft

  • 328 (+0) helicopters

  • 15263 (+29) operational-tactical level UAVs

  • 2592 (+0) cruise missiles

  • 28 (+0) ship/boat

  • 1 (+0) submarine

  • 24712 (+28) units of automotive equipment and tank trucks

  • 3090 (+6) units of special equipment.
