In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, the number of deserters among Russian military personnel stationed there has increased.
This was reported today, September 13, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
It is noted that the increase in the number of deserters is evidenced by raids by the Russian military police, which have been intensified in the cities of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
In particular, in Starobelsk, the police of the invaders are checking the documents of almost every male passerby, the Central Nervous System notes.
In addition, the Luhansk OVA recently reported that the security forces of the Russians made a request to all military registration and enlistment offices in the so-called “LNR” regarding information about individuals who received Russian citizenship but did not re-register for military service. Such men from the occupied Luhansk region will be deprived of Russian citizenship.
This is a requirement of the law recently adopted by the Kremlin. It will be applied immediately after checking documents that do not have a fresh mark from the military registration and enlistment office, – noted the OVA. – So, to receive a Russian passport, you now have to pay “your debt to your family.”
