People’s deputies are already working on a bill to abolish customs privileges for international parcels.
We have not abandoned this idea. We are planning to cancel the benefit for parcels with a separate bill. It is currently being developed, – the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo Getmantsev noted in a conversation with EP.
At the same time, the MP did not specify when exactly this bill might see the light of day.
The day before, another people’s deputy from the “Voice” faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reported that the Cabinet of Ministers is initiating changes in the taxation of international postal and express mail.
According to him, the government proposes to exempt postal items worth up to 45 euros from VAT. As of today, items worth up to 150 euros are exempt from VAT and duty.
Getmantsev reported on September 11 that the State Tax Service had received information about the volume of income from the OnlyFans service used by porn models. The number of Ukrainian OnlyFans accounts increases on average threefold every year.
Getmantsev gave three examples of earnings. Citizens S, K and B earned 4 million, 3 million and 1.8 million dollars respectively over several years.
Getmantsev previously reported that international platforms paid almost $35 million in Q4 2023. VAT is the so-called Google tax. Of this, OnlyFans paid $1.3 million.
