Candidate Donald Trump has said he will not participate in another debate with Kamala Harris because he believes he won the primary debate.
When a boxer loses a fight, the first words you hear out of his mouth are: “I want a rematch”… I won a debate against the radical Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and she called for a new one… There will be no third debate! – Trump emphasized.
In Truth Social, Trump added that he won the debate with Harris on Tuesday, despite the overwhelming majority of polls showing otherwise.
Trump cited multiple social media polls, including one published by C-SPAN, that showed him doing better than Harris.
Harris expressed her desire to meet the former president again:
I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate because this election and what is at stake is so important.
The candidate’s campaign also almost immediately called for a second debate between the two candidates.
A CNN poll found that 63% of debate watchers said Harris won.
Only 37% of respondents say Trump will win.
Trump and Harris held campaign rallies in key states for the first time since meeting at the debates the day before.
Harris held two rallies in North Carolina, while Trump addressed voters in Arizona.
Trump reiterated at a rally in Arizona that there will be no debates.
Meanwhile, American TikTok exploded with a new trend after Trump’s strange statement at the debate.
Americans are jokingly “cooking” cats and dogs on social media after Trump said during a debate against Kamala Harris that migrants in the US allegedly eat pets.
In Springfield, they eat dogs. People who came. They eat cats. They eat pets of people who live in the city. This is happening in our country. It is a shame, – said the Republican in the midst of the debate, who wanted to accuse the Democrats of ineffective immigration policy.
It should be noted that Trump’s words came amid reports on social media that Haitian migrants were allegedly kidnapping pets and cooking them for food, but local authorities and police denied this information. The debate host reminded Trump of this, and he promised to look into it. However, Americans did not ignore the presidential candidate’s heated remark, and it subsequently grew into a joke and numerous memes.
