A Russian Shahed-type UAV flew in close proximity to the Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant.
The dangerous maneuver of the enemy drone was recorded on the night of September 12. Subsequently, “Shahed” was destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces. The head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, reported this on Telegram.
Today, during the night attack, a flight of a Russian attack UAV of the Shahed type was recorded in the immediate vicinity of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant, the official emphasized.
According to the head of the OVA, the aggressor country Russia deliberately lays out the routes of missiles and attack drones so that they pass, in particular, over nuclear facilities in Ukraine. This is not the first time this has happened, he emphasized. Tyurin called this part of Russian terrorist tactics.
Let us recall that on the night of September 12, Russia attacked Ukraine with 64 Shahed-type attack drones, which the enemy launched from the Russian Kursk and Yeysk and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The Ukrainian Air Force stated that 44 attack UAVs were shot down during the air battle, three Shaheds flew back to Russia, and four more drones were lost on Ukrainian territory.
Ten enemy drones were shot down in the Khmelnytsky region. However, a fire broke out in one of the furniture storage warehouses.
