In the Volchansk direction, border guards-sappers hunted for an enemy drone.
This was reported today, September 11, on the Telegram channel of the Garth brigade.
It is noted that the enemy drone visited the fighters of the Gart brigade with the call signs Mangal and Rats while they were carrying out a combat mission to mine the territory.
We saw this drone when we were heading to the mining site. We didn’t shoot it down because we were close to the car and were afraid that it would detect not only us, but also the location of the car. The “bird” then circled a bit and flew away. We did our job and were heading back in the morning. Then we heard the characteristic sound again, and a few seconds later the enemy’s reconnaissance drone was already hanging above us. They opened fire instantly, it turned out synchronously. I don’t even know who of us hit, – the sapper “Mangal” said.
The drone was found and will now serve the defenders of Ukraine.
