Blinken and the British Foreign Minister arrived in Kyiv

Antony Blinken and David Lemmy will meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and other officials.

The heads of the diplomatic departments of the United States and Britain, Antony Blinken and David Lemmy, arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday, September 11. The corresponding video was released by CBS News reporter Olivia Gazis.

The US State Department said the other day that Blinken and Lemmy will meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and other officials. Together they will discuss additional support for Ukraine to defend against Russian aggression.

Following the trip, Blinken and Lemmy will report to President Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who will discuss the issue in a meeting on Friday.

The day before it became known that Biden and Starmer would discuss authorization for Ukraine to conduct a long-term strike on the Russian Federation using Western weapons. The leaders may take such a step after confirming information about Iran’s transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia.
