In the past 24 hours, the Russians have attacked civilian energy infrastructure in Donetsk, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkov regions. The Ministry of Energy announced this on Wednesday, September 11.
So, in the Kharkov region, as a result of military operations, many substations and household consumers were de-energized. Power has been restored for all customers.
In the Poltava region, during an air raid, the air line was disconnected. Power has been restored.
In addition, in the Zaporozhye region, for technological reasons, the substation equipment was turned off, and household consumers were de-energized. In one of the industrial enterprises, a violation of the production process technology occurred. Power supply has now been restored.
In the Khmelnitsky region, as a result of technological violations, substations and household consumers were de-energized. Power was restored using a backup circuit.
In this regard, Ukrenergo informed that due to fighting and other reasons this morning, 530 settlements were fully or partially de-energized.
“Due to the conflict, there were new blackouts in the Donetsk and Kharkov regions. Due to bad weather, 3 settlements in the Zaporozhye region were blacked out for technical reasons, there were no electricity consumers in the Zaporozhye regions and Chernigov ,” the message said.
Energy experts do not predict the use of blackout schedules in the regions, but ask citizens to use electricity sparingly between 18:00 and 22:00.
Today, Ukraine imports electricity from Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 17,646 MW-hours, with peak power of up to 1,595 MW in individual hours.
Export is not in progress and is not expected.
