On the night of September 10, 144 Ukrainian drones were allegedly shot down on Russian territory in nine regions, of which 20 were in the Moscow region. This was stated by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Last night, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 144 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs,” the report said.
It was noted that the majority of drones were allegedly shot down in the territory of the Bryansk region – 72. 20 drones were allegedly destroyed in the Moscow region, 14 – in Kursk, 13 – in Tula, eight – in Belgorod, seven – in Kaluga , five – over Voronezh, four – in the Lipetsk region and one in the Oryol region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense traditionally does not report on the consequences of attacks.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that on the night of September 10, 14 drones flying towards the Russian capital were shot down in Russia. Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports were closed, and the Carpet plan was announced. The Zhukovsky airport near Moscow was damaged and a fire broke out there.
Residents of Ramenskoye near Moscow reported that debris from one of the drones hit a high-rise building. A fire broke out there. Later, information emerged about two more houses allegedly hit by UAV debris.
