The Russian Federation attacked Kyiv with Shahed-type attack UAVs.
On the night of September 9, the enemy launched drones from the Kursk region of Russia. Loitering munitions approached Kyiv after midnight, in several waves. This was the fifth air attack on the capital since the beginning of September. This was reported by the Kiev City Military Administration on Telegram.
The air raid alarm in Kyiv lasted for over an hour. Ukrainian air defense destroyed all the Shaheds on the approaches to the city. Preliminary, there were no destructions or casualties in Kyiv.

Let us recall that on the night of September 8, the Russians launched a strike on Ukraine with four Kh-59 guided air missiles from the Belgorod region of Russia. And from Kursk and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea, the enemy launched 23 Shahed-type attack UAVs. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down one Kh-59 guided air missile and 15 Shaheds.
