The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on September 7 that 168 combat clashes occurred yesterday. In particular, in the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor attacked Ukrainian defenders 44 times during the day. The greatest activity was shown in the area of Novogrodovka, Mykhailivka and Grodovka. The defenders repelled 39 attacks, and five more combat encounters are ongoing.
Yesterday, in the Pokrovsky direction, the occupiers lost more than 240 servicemen killed and wounded.
Let us recall that the day before, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the situation in the Pokrovsk direction was “not easy, but there is a certain improvement.”
However, the Ukrainian military insists that there is no point in talking about stabilization in this direction.
