The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified paperwork for ammunition manufacturers

The government has simplified the paperwork process for manufacturers of explosives and detonators. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.

“In order to increase the quantity and speed up the production of Ukrainian ammunition, we are killing all the bureaucracy so that manufacturers can produce, buy and import explosives and components without permits and licenses,” he said.

According to the minister, the decision given gives a start to the Ukrainian market of explosives and fuses. In the past, to start the production of explosives, the paperwork took at least 12-18 months. The government order speeds up the process up to 1 month.

Drones, robots, electronic warfare, and ammunition have already taken the same market opening path. And we’re already seeing results on the battlefield,” Fedorov added.

It was previously reported that Ukroboronprom enterprises are increasing the production of shells and mortar mines, and are also gradually moving to the production of NATO caliber ammunition.
