On the night of September 6, Russians attacked the Lviv region with three attack drones.
The air defense destroyed all hostile targets. Around 3.15 a.m., fragments of a Shahed drone fell in the industrial zone of the Lviv district. A fire broke out — four trucks caught fire. This was reported by the head of the Lviv regional military administration Maksym Kozitskyi on Telegram.
The fire was extinguished in an hour and a half, with 32 firefighters and six units of special equipment involved. There were no casualties as a result of the attack.
Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said the fire broke out in warehouses near the village of Malekhiv. The village is located 5 km from the center of Lviv on the M06 highway.
A fire caused by falling UAV debris also broke out in the Nikolaev region. The head of the Nikolaev OV Vitaly Kim reported that seven “Shakheds” were shot down in the sky over the region at night. As a result of combat operations and falling debris, dry grass caught fire in an open area in the Bashtansky district. No one was hurt, the fire was quickly extinguished.
Let us recall that in Sumy it took the State Emergency Service employees more than 12 hours to extinguish a fire that broke out as a result of an enemy strike on a civilian infrastructure facility on August 30.
