The woman informed the representative of the Ombudsman that her father was detained and beaten by TCC employees, which led to his death.

In the Zakrapati region, the number of complaints about illegal actions by TCC and JV representatives has increased. This is what Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets said on Telegram on Thursday, September 5.

“Yes, a citizen of Ukraine contacted my representative in the Transcarpathian region, who in his appeal reported the illegal, in his opinion, detention of his father by TCC and SP employees and beatings, which led on his death,” the ombudsman wrote.

Lubinets emphasized that this case requires an immediate, comprehensive and impartial investigation. Information about a criminal offense (negligent grave or moderate bodily harm) is included in the ERDR.

“To clarify all the circumstances of the case, I sent a request to the Prosecutor General. If violations are detected, I will demand that the guilty officials, regardless of their titles, ranks and positions, be held accountable,” the ombudsman emphasized . .

We remind you that law enforcement officials are investigating 408 criminal proceedings on the facts of abuses by TCC and SP officials during the mobilization.
