The politician said he was shocked by the photos from the freed Bucha.
“I am shocked by the images that remain in my memory and testify to the atrocities committed by the Russian army in the liberated areas of the Kiev region,” Michel admitted.
The head of the European Council believes that this is evidence of war crimes that should be used in court.
“The European Union helps Ukraine and non-governmental organizations to collect the necessary evidence for prosecution (guilty-ed.) In international courts. There will be new sanctions and new support,” he added.
The politician completed the message, written in English, with two words in Ukrainian: “Glory to Ukraine!”
