On the morning of September 2, Kyiv became the target of another missile attack by Russian terrorists.
At approximately 5:00 a.m., missiles began to be shot down in the sky above the capital. Preliminary, it was ballistics. The Air Force and monitoring channels reported the launch of ballistic missiles at Russia (probably North Korean).
Cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS also approached the capital.
As of 6:25 a.m. in Kyiv, two people sought medical help; one of them was hospitalized, said the city mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
There were numerous fires in the city. According to preliminary information, four cars were burning at one of the places where debris fell in the Svyatoshinsky district, the fire was extinguished.
A fire broke out in a two-story non-residential building in Svyatoshinsky District. Small architectural forms near the Svyatoshin metro station were damaged, as well as the windows of the metro station building. The station is operational.
In the Goloseevsky district, the boiler house of the educational institution – MAUP – was damaged. The fire was extinguished.
A fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises in Shevchenkivskyi district. The elimination of the consequences of the enemy attack continues.
Air defense forces were also operating in the Kyiv region. There were hostile targets shot down, the OVA says.
No hits to critical or residential infrastructure were recorded. There were no casualties.
Falling debris set forest litter and dry grass on fire in three areas. Three private homes and two cars were also damaged.
