A series of explosions occurred in the Russian city of Belgorod on Monday morning, September 2. Local authorities said the air defense was working, resulting in fires and destruction. This was confirmed by a message from the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“In the city of Belgorod there were direct hits on a social and a commercial facility that also burned,” said a Russian official.

According to him, in the village of Dubovo “two houses and four cars were burned”; Emergency and fire services are on site.

Russian media also say that among the affected facilities is said to be a kindergarten.

Gladkov also released footage of the aftermath of the Belgorod attack.

Let’s recall that on August 30, it was reported that the number of wounded Russians in Belgorod and the Belgorod region as a result of the attack increased to 46.
