On the night of today, September 1, Russian invaders carried out another air attack on Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy used:
- the Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk region;
- 11 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type from Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
It is noted that this time the occupiers targeted Ukrainian grain and the logistics of the agricultural sector, in particular, in the Nikolaev and Sumy regions.
As a result of combat operations by units of anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare systems of the Air Force and mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, eight attack UAVs were shot down within the Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Kirovograd and Dnepropetrovsk regions, the Air Force reported.
