The number of victims as a result of the Russian bombing of Kharkov has increased significantly.
As of Saturday morning, August 31, there are already 97 wounded in the city. Among the victims are 22 children. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov on Telegram.
According to updated information, as a result of the enemy strike on Kharkov, 97 people have been injured to date, including 22 minors, the report says.
Yesterday evening the names of two Kharkiv residents who became victims of the Russian bombing became known. They were named by the media group “Nakipilo”.
The deceased Sergei Strukov had worked as a driver at Trolleybus Depot No. 3 since 1980. Yesterday was his day off. A Russian bomb hit the entrance of the 12-story building where he lived. The husband died trying to save his wife. He was 66 years old. The wife was slightly injured and was taken in by her sons.
The second victim was the artist and poet Veronika Kozhushko. Artist Sergey Zhadan said that she was a sincere and gifted person. An hour before her death, she sent him her new drawing. It was her last drawing.
Nika Kozhushko is very young, sincere and gifted. An hour before her death, she sent me her new drawing. That is, her last drawing. Russians continue to destroy our future. There is no explanation for this. And there is no forgiveness either, – wrote Zhadan.
Let us recall that on August 30, Russian aviation struck Kharkov with modified UMBP D-30 guided aerial bombs. As a result of the enemy strike, seven people were killed and more than 50 people were injured.
