Poland is ready to store U.S. nuclear weapons on its territory to thwart Russia’s aggression, Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister said.
Polish Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczynski said Warsaw was open to hosting U.S. nuclear weapons on its territory. DW reports.
“If the Americans ask us to store U.S. nuclear weapons in Poland, we will be open to it. This will greatly strengthen the detention in Moscow,” he said.
According to him, at present such a question is not raised, “however, this may change soon.” He also stressed that the initiative should come from the Americans.
