He called awarding Ramzan Kadyrov’s son the most important order a well-deserved recognition of his “high moral character and dedication to the cause.”
The son of the President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the head of his security department, 16-year-old Adam Kadyrov, received the Order of Kadyrov – the highest award of the Republic. This was announced on Sunday, August 25, by Chechnya’s Minister for National Policy, Foreign Affairs, Press and Information Akhmed Dudayev.
“It is a fitting recognition of his high moral character and dedication to the cause that Adam is a true patriot of his homeland, worthy of representing his glorious family, as a true Muslim and Chechen,” the message said.
It is known that the Order of Kadyrov is the highest state award of the Chechen Republic. The order was established in 2004 in memory of Chechnya’s first president, Akhmat Kadyrov, who died in a terrorist attack that same year.
The award is given to “outstanding government and public persons, citizens and organizations for outstanding services related to the development of the state, labor achievements, strengthening of peace, friendship and cooperation between people , contributing to the prosperity and glory of the Chechen Republic.” Among them, Ramzan Kadyrov and his 18-year-old son Akhmat, the minister of youth affairs of the republic, were awarded the order. Also his daughters Khadijat (head of the Department of Preschool Education of Grozny City Hall) and Aishat (head of the Ministry of Culture of Chechnya).
Adam Kadyrov is 16 years old. In October he was awarded the title of Hero of Chechnya. This happened shortly after a teenager (at that time he was 15 years old) beat a person accused of burning the Koran in a Grozny pre-trial detention center.
Adam Kadyrov has been the head of the security service department of the chairman of Chechnya since November 2023, and since April he has been the administrator of the Russian Special Forces University.
