Reuters journalists were injured in a nighttime Iskander strike on a hotel in Kramatorsk.
There were six people from the team in the building on the night of August 25, including citizens of Ukraine, the United States and Britain.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that two media representatives received a mine blast injury, a brain contusion, a broken leg, a concussion, and cut wounds to the body. Another one is probably under the rubble, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported. In addition to the hotel, a high-rise building nearby was damaged.
Targeted strikes against the media have become a systemic tactic of Russia’s war. These barbaric war crimes must be condemned, prosecuted and punished, a representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on the X network.
