The Ukrainian military has plans to destroy the bridge over the Kerch Strait and take back the temporarily occupied Crimea. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense Andrei Yusov, RBC-Ukraine reports on Saturday, August 24.
He recalled that the Russians now use the island as a “huge military base.” This is important from a logistical point of view.
“I want to look at the clock and say that the bridge still has 15 minutes to stand – but the truth is more complicated,” said Yusov.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate added that the Defense Forces have a plan for the de-occupation of Crimea, but its details will not be disclosed.
“Of course, the Security and Defense Forces have plans for both the deoccupation of the Ukrainian lands and the peninsula, and the destruction of all things that interfere with us not giving announcements in recent times, when the corresponding defeat was inflicted and was effective,” he concluded.
Earlier, the media reported that Ukraine was “preparing the ground” for future attacks on Crimea. The chances of their success increased after receiving the F-16 fighter jet.
